Landlords in Vietnam are responsible for declaring temporary residence for their tenants. VinaBos' Temporary residence page lists every current tenant, shows who has not been declared, lets you mark many at once and exports a list per building to submit. No more filtering spreadsheets by hand.
Before you start
- Your plan includes the Temporary residence declaration feature. To export the list you also need the export-declarations permission.
- Tenant profiles and contracts are complete: full name, date of birth, ID card and permanent address. Tenants with missing details will have blank export data.
- The building's contracts are in effect. A building with no active contracts has nothing to export.
Steps
Open the Temporary residence page
In the menu, under Tenants & contracts, click Temporary residence. The page lists tenants by room and contract, with a Status column and a Co-occupants column. Choose a building in the filter if you manage several.
Filter tenants not yet declared
Click Not declared (②) to show only the tenants who need attention. All current tenants takes you back to the full list.

Once you have declared them to the authorities, click the Mark as declared icon on the tenant's row. To handle several at once, tick the rows and click Declare (with the number selected), or click Declare all to cover the whole page.
Export the list to submit
Click Export declarations (①), choose the Building, then click Download CSV (opens in Excel) or Download JSON. The file includes full name, date of birth, gender, permanent address, contract number, room, start date and end date.
Whenever a new tenant moves in, open this page, filter by Not declared and deal with it in the first week. Doing it regularly means a backlog never builds up.
Marking someone as declared is only a note in VinaBos; it does not send anything to any authority. You still have to file the declaration according to local regulations.
FAQ
Are co-occupants included in the list?
The Co-occupants column shows the people listed in the contract. Enter all co-occupants when you create the contract so the export is accurate.
I clicked Mark as declared by mistake
Reopen the tenant's row to check the status. If it needs correcting, ask someone with the temporary residence management permission to fix it.
